Description
Custom strap for use in “camming” over a platform for saddle hunting. This strap can be used with an XOP, Lone Wolf, or DIY platform such as the “scooter” platform. This is a 1″ wide strap and is comprised of the following components:
- 6 ft olive drab strap with 2″ loop on one end for girth hitching to one side of platform and open on the other end to feed through the cam buckle
- 1″ steel cam buckle with black e-coat finish
- 12″ olive drab strap with 2″ loop on one end for girth hitching to other side of platform and 1″ flat hook on the other for connecting back to the cam buckle.
The two ends of the strap would be girth hitched to the platform and the long strap would be fed through the cam buckle (one time after girth hitching). When setting up, simply connect the flat hook to the buckle and tighten down. This strap eliminates the need to use carabiners or other metal connectors.
The weight rating is 1500# breaking limit and 500# working load limit. Straps and buckle weigh approx. 12oz.
