I bought this is an upgrade to my Hawk Helium climbing steps after seeing it used with a different product on YouTube. The daisy chain that is included with the steps always seemed like a hassle. I thought it was hard to separate the loops especially in inclement weather and inevitably the ideal placement was between loops. This product along with an 8′ double looped piece of Amsteel has been an effortless and welcomed change to my climbing routine. I would HIGHLY encourage buying these from Eastern Outdoors because they include the appropriate bolts. I tried buying a set off of Amazon and had to return them because I could not find the tapered hex head bolts in the big box home improvement stores. I found something similar online but it would have cost more for the bolts and shipping than it did to just buy these cleats. As always shipping and tracking were exceptional.
