One-Sticking Workshop/Camp-Out

Join us for a first-ever workshop focused directly on one-sticking and rappelling. Eastern Woods Outdoors, along with UltimAider and The Amsteel Guy, is hosting a camp-out at Wesleyan Woods Camp in Vassar, MI on August 4th and 5th. Camping is optional but encouraged so we can get together and swap stories and get acquainted. Breakfast will be provided at 8:00am for those that camp (no charge). Workshops start at 9:00am and will include the following: rappelling, using aiders, one-sticking, and shooting 360 from a platform/one-stick. We’ll finish with a fun shooting competition. Lunch is included in the $5 charge and we anticipate to be finished by 2:00pm.

We will accept up to 40 guests so we can work with everyone individually. You can make your own reservations with the camp (https://wesleyanwoods.org/rv-camping), just let them know you’re with the EWO event (our camper is in spot #83). Please purchase your ticket here before making camping reservations. Please note, Wesleyan Woods is an alcohol free campground. Feel free to bring the family and spend the whole weekend as there are a lot of available activities.

This workshop is geared to those without any experience or limited experience one-sticking. Previous rappelling experience handy but not required. We will work you at ground level and then 6’ off the ground before letting you rappel from height. This will be a fun and educational event that just might transform you into a truly mobile one-sticker.
