SRT (Single/Stationary Rope Technique) is a great add-on for one-sticking and rappelling. Once you have climbed a tree and setup, you can leave your rope and come back the next day or later on the same day and climb right back up the tree using SRT. Only requires a few extra components as long as you already have a device like the Madrock Safeguard or equivalent. This kit consists of the following:

Kong Futura Hand Ascender

Kong Futura Hand ascender rope clamp for 8 to 12 mm ropes. The left hand version is Titanium/Yellow and the right hand is Black/Yellow. These are minimalist hand ascenders and much smaller than the Lift. Super lightweight - see pics.

Foot Loop (Beal or Sloop)

Adjustable footloop with quick adjusting system around the foot for ascending fixed ropes with an ascender.
Based on availability, you may receive a Beal Air Step or EDELWEISS Sloop. Both are identical.

Quick Link - Delta

Delta quick link for use in 1-sticking and SRT for a girth hitch. Allows you to quickly attach your rope instead of feeding your whole line through your girth hitch. Better than a carabiner as there's no worry about cross-loading.
